Summary
The tools on this site run locally in your browser. Text you paste into a JSON formatter, hash generator, Base64 encoder, barcode builder, regex tester, or any other tool on this site is processed on your device by standard browser APIs. It is not transmitted to our servers, stored by us, or retained after you close the page.
We do collect some standard server and analytics data to understand how the site is used and to serve advertising. This policy describes that data in detail below.
Information We Collect
Tool inputs
As described above, text you enter into any tool workspace is processed locally and is not sent to our servers. We therefore hold no copy of your tool input and cannot retrieve it.
Server logs
When your browser requests a page or asset, our web infrastructure logs the request. These logs typically contain the requested URL, a timestamp, the HTTP status code, and your IP address. We retain these logs for a limited period for security monitoring and to diagnose availability problems. We do not use server log IP addresses for profiling or advertising.

Softkey Tools is a professional developer utility site aimed at adults working in software development. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA).
