Using the site

Softkey Tools is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use the tools and the output they produce in your own work, including commercially, without attribution and without a licence fee.

You may not use the site to break the law, to attack or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or to process data you have no right to process. You may not scrape, republish, or redistribute the written guides as your own work, and you may not present the site or its content as belonging to anyone other than Softkey Solutions Ltd.

Your data

The tools run in your browser. Text you paste into a workspace is processed on your device and is not transmitted to us, stored by us, or logged by us. We therefore hold no copy of your input and cannot recover it for you.

You remain responsible for what you paste. Do not paste data you are not permitted to handle, and treat any credential you have handled loosely as compromised. How the site handles cookies, analytics, and advertising is described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The site and its output are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Tool output is a development aid and is not a substitute for testing in your own environment.

In particular, nothing on this site is security advice. Generated passwords, tokens, hashes, and signed tokens are produced for development and testing. Decisions about authentication, authorisation, key management, and credential storage belong in your own systems, reviewed by people accountable for them. See the Disclaimer for the detail.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Softkey Solutions Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its output, including loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or withdraw the site or any tool at any time and without notice. We may also update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
